The Imago Team
World-class scientists, business innovators and healthcare professionals lead Imago. The development is guided by a technical team consisting of award-winning scientists with a long list of prior patents in the imaging field; software architects; and programmers. It also includes mathematicians and physicists who bring more than 50 years of combined experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence related to image processing and analysis. The executive team has successfully built and run enterprise software divisions, with experience transitioning markets from hardware to software as a service (SaaS). The sales, marketing, and product commercialization team combine decades of experience with major U.S. technology and medical industry firms.
Board members and advisers include a consultant with a distinguished career in the medical device industry, plus years spent leading the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The Company also has the benefit of ongoing guidance from one of the nation’s top economic strategists within the medical imaging industry.
Relative to providing solutions for breast cancer screening, Imago has begun the FDA approval process and is preparing for a clinical validation study in 2017. Imago will also be launching its first product expected in late 2017 centered on veterinary medicine to detect and diagnose abnormalities in dogs. With a simple annual exam, Imago’s product can visualize a simple X-ray or ultrasound to reveal information that normally can’t be seen. The intention is to provide the veterinarian a clear focus on abnormal tissue and structures, finding cancer before it becomes life threatening, and for the first time early enough to make it manageable.
Imago has a fully developed IP strategy consisting of 47 core and defensive patent claims, all considered “novel and inventive” based on a PTO international search. The product also incorporates a multi-tiered trade-secret strategy.
